I knew as soon as I sat down to meet with Alissa and Brett that I would absolutely love photographing their wedding in Las Vegas, NM at the Historic Plaza Hotel. Hearing them talk about how they met, their love of New Mexico, and their adventurous spirits had me giddy at the thought of how fun their wedding would be. I couldn’t be more honored to have met these two as well as their families and photographed such a beautiful wedding celebration.
The icing on the cake was to do a day-after session the morning after (Yes…these two are fearless!) at sunrise to capture a few more photos in the place that they call home. Ending the day after session in the stream that crosses through their property was a little nod back to when they first met and went on a walk together. Without a 2nd thought, Alissa was hopping through the river along the rocks. <3
