Some wedding days seem particularly electric and J&J’s wedding at Blame Her Ranch was certainly that. Every element of the day had so much care and detail poured into it that the day seemed to just fly along with incredible joy. As we were finishing up sunset photos, we notice a storm cloud rolling in pretty quickly and the couple asked if it was possible to catch a lightning strike. I have captured a lighting strike during wedding portraits before and I knew that we could do it. So we walked out to see the approaching monsoon storm and after a few minutes, we got the most epic lightning strike!
