I love little weddings and especially those that are focused on the family and friends that surround a couple. Joanna and Jeremy exchanged vows outside of the UNM chapel because of the beautiful adobe architecture that is prevalent all over the University of New Mexico campus.
The day began with a first look between J&J where they could take a moment to connect with each other before the ceremony. First looks are becoming more popular on wedding days and I am certainly enjoying the trend. The biggest benefit of a first looks is that it takes care of all of your formal photos with family and wedding party before the ceremony so that you are able to spend more time with your guests once the wedding ceremony is done. That’s right, you can mingle with your guests during the cocktail hour! Aside from this little timeline changeup streamlining the day, it gives you a chance to spend a little more time with the people that matter the most to you.
